Lost Realms has at 16:17 (GMT) been patched with new updated code of the framework which enables new feature and would help rooting out old bugs. Also a new feature has been implemented: Allegiance.
Allegiance
Ambush allows you to have a chance to isolate a Hero in an opposing party. Ambush requires that you be attacking solo another Hero in a party.
Ambush Factors:
To keep track of all changes as they happen, please keep checking the Report
PS: We apologize for clearing up old guilds, there has been a change that required we do so, if any new guild disappears suddenly, and you are in it as administrator, please notify the game team immediately.
Allegiance
Allegiance is the bonus heroes get from joining the game through a friend. This is a way to reward players that get new heroes to join, and help out the heroes who have joined through players.
Making Allegiances gives you a boost in the game:
When registering, players get to choose a sovereign to whom they swear allegiance. This oath lasts for the entire chapter, and may not be changed later on. It ties hence two people: the subject, the player who made the oath, and the sovereign the player who the oath has been made to, in other words the player who recruited the newcomer hero.
Making Allegiances gives you a boost in the game:
- Upon registering you get an extra 250 crystals, crucial for the start of game
- When the subject validates his e-mail, the sovereign gains 500 experience, and 500 crystals.
- When subjects level up they gain 250 extra crystals, their sovereign gains an extra 500 crystals.
- When the subject reaches level 3 his sovereign is rewarded a Stamina Potion, one of the rare items in the game.
- When the subject reaches level 5 he will be rewarded a Stamina Potion
Ambush
Ambush allows you to have a chance to isolate a Hero in an opposing party. Ambush requires that you be attacking solo another Hero in a party.
Ambush Factors:
- Level Difference: The Higher the level relative to the opposing party the more likely you are to ambush.
- Party Count: The more members in a party, the less likely that you would ambush.
- Stamina: The more you have stamina relatively to the other Hero stamina, the more likely you are to ambush
To keep track of all changes as they happen, please keep checking the Report

They were dark times, the world was in chaos. Earth was being torn apart, and life itself was on the brink of extinction. Several people gathered in a rocky town, where, rumor has it, a mysterious monument was unraveled. The monument, shaped like a gate, had mysterious engravings on it, and amongst those who dared to wander near it, many have gone missing. Having no other choice, the men journeyed through the gate.
A magical world stood before their eyes, there was a strange haze of light, it sounded familiar, the landscape was familiar to earth, yet there was no sound, it was serene, perhaps too serene, no voice could be heard, there was no movement, they were... alone. Yet, something felt different, amidst the serenity, it felt like all the hate, violence, chaos had not disappeared, something was odd.
The people built settlement from the materials they could find on the realm, and soon they ran across some weird materials, they were small fragments of crystals, yet something felt alluring, the people who held the crystals, were granted weird power, some kind of magical power. And the people became greedy, and started trading with the crystals, and soon afterward, dispute began amongst them, so they split up and established numerous other settlements forming guilds and battled for control of crystals, and it seamed the more there were battle, the more crystals appeared, as if the disturbing aura that could be felt was materializing.
People would choose and train in different specialties and thus become heroes, the pure of soul, were called the Knights, they would not fight unless for self-defense or honor and their purity made them more likely to detect small scattered crystals. The warriors, were the people of brave hearts, dedicated to fight for control on crystals. The rogues, the devious heroes, rely on stealth tactics and are the most agile. And the Mages, those who dedicated their time to control and master the power the crystals have given. Those are the four types of heroes, and this is their story, as they attempt to discover the new world and the surprises that await them.
Will you join the adventure, choose your path, and explore this mystical world?

(For those of you unfamiliar with FAR, please check here)
Thank you all alpha testers for supporting the Alpha test of FAR, your input has been highly taken into consideration.
The following message is to notify you, of the progress on the BETA version. The beta version is now at development phase 4/4. We expect you all back in the game once the BETA has been complete.
Here are some of the features of the BETA:
Shop:
Buying the items will be item dependent instead of currently it just depend on your money and/or level and spellpoints, the item will analyze the player and purchase accordingly, which means that further restrictions can be added on items: items only for certain classes, purchasable if you only have certain amount of attributes, or even other items (chaining items, and forging new item from existing ones perhaps?)
Inventory/Battle: Tactics Chain
Equipping the items will differ, it will instead of a slot-based system, it will be chain based system. The inventory page will be renamed to Tactics page, then you can define attack chains by combining the items with your attack the way you see fit on different levels (before battle, while engaging, when dying etc...)
Also the item will allow you to chain it, therefore increasing the things we can do with items. Also items may have more than one attribute to chain (eg: sword can do slash or charge etc...), and certain item will be involved in the chain like consumable that you can consume at any time in the battle, and so on.
Tactics are available for offense and defense.
Each item chain is controlled by item, but may cause stamina loss. Eg: attacking with Normal Attack then a Slash with Sword, will use up for example: 1% stamina for attack then 1% for the slash (each item will regulate its stamina), also defending, the more you retaliate the more stamina you lose.
